From the main tees, the green is long but narrow, so any tee shot that is not struck on the perfect line is likely to be deflected to the left or to the right. The hale drops off steeply behind the green, so it is better to be short than long. From the alternative tees that are left of green 10, the green is wide but not deep so distance contrai rather than shot direction is key.
