The fairway slopes from right to left and there is a pond to the left of the fairway in driving distance for many players, so on the tee players should generally aim towards the right side of this fairway. Any approach shot that is short or lefl is likely to be deflected away from the green which will leave a difficull chip. If players miss the green, missing on the right is the better outcome.
